How to use ultrasoft tyres?
So I noticed in tyre management, there is "ultrasoft" tyre logo. Is there a way to use them?

what do you mean ? not all tyres are available for every race or FP session

Ohh, so they are available for certain races only. Thanks for the answer.

I'm new to this game, so I only have played the first 3 GP's in career mode, and none of them had ultrasofts or mediums available.

The rubber compounds used at each race are determined by the tyre supplier (currently Pirelli) according to the known characteristics of the track.

You can decide to go for a more aggresive approach to each weekend with a higher number of the softer compound tyre, or a more conservative higher number of the harder tyre by selecting it from the options before each race weekend.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i read the news back then in 2016, Pirelli (Tyre supplier) said that UltraSoft tyre (purple) will only be used in STREET circuits

Street circuits are like Singapore, Monaco

mediums are always avivable except on tracks where the ultrasoft is avivable.
so you had one of them for sure.

further: in australia you ran mediums for sure xd(pretty sure atleast)

Don't know if they have said that, but they use them generally on circuits with really low tyre degradation.

Not sure if they took each compound for the game like it was actually used, but:

While it is true that they were used on Singapore and Monaco, the ultra softs also saw use in Austria and Canada among others.
