How to: Change Resolution & Skip Intro Movies

Open this Folder:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete\Conquests"

Then:
Open "conquests.ini" File with Notepad,
Scroll down and add this as a new line right at the bottom:
KeepRes=1

Be sure your game is closed & save the notepad file!

DONE!!!

When you open the game, the main menu will remain in small resolution but when you begin to play, it will be your native desktop resolution. Have fun!

Delete or Rename the 2 following files:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization iii complete\Art\Movies\CivComplete.bik"
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization iii\complete\Conquests\Art\Movies\CivComplete.bik"

simply add "PlayIntro=0"

Yep you can also add in the conquests.ini as a new line:
PlayIntro=0

I can't get that damn intro, all I get is a black screen, then the menu screen in 4:3.

The menu is still in 4:3 ratio. Its when you're playing in a world the resolution will change.
