How to save and continue a multiplayer game?

^title^ Also is it possible to begin with anyway?
Not being able to continue multiplayer games with my friends really disincourges us from playing this.

When you are in a multiplayer game at the top left you can click the menu then save, and later when you want to go back in with your friends you go back to the hosting screen with all the options on the left and change the "Game Mode" from standard to load game.
