How to increase the minimum distance between cities beyond 2?

I'd like to make the world less crowded by adjusting the minimum distance between cities to 3 or even higher. Is there a way to do that? I didn't find an option for that in the editor.

Its possible now with C3X: https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/c3x.28759/ . Under engine extensions. You just edit it in the config to put it at what number you want.

That's distance between civs, I'm afraid, not distance between cities.
