Source code
Can the developers please release the source code for Civilization 3? This is the best one in the series. No source code.
But you released the source code for Civilization 4 and 5 for some reason.

Civ 3 predates use of .dll files (from Wikipedia) "DLLs provide a mechanism for shared code and data, allowing a developer of shared code/data to upgrade functionality without requiring applications to be re-linked or re-compiled. " Civ 4 & 5 utilize them.

Indeed, but there have been news that Civ 2's source code was lost. Possibly this is a reason why there's not remaster of the game. No such news came out in regard to Civ 3. Maybe someone, somewhere still has it. Who knows?

That being said, it would be great to have all the great features from the first three Civ games in one game, without the cartoonish style that started from Civ 4.

finally quote from someone regarding the cartoon nature of civ4 -> forever. I can't tolerate them. The nature of the game changed from strategy to sheer awfulness.
