Just downloaded it, icon is a blank page on desktop and only 2/3 of the menu page loads

I can't access the rest of the home screen so it's like it's not even there. I know it's not a performance issue on my system cause I've run newer games than this on there. Any help is greatly appreciated

Civ 3 does not start on Steam

Hi everyone, There are multiple threads about this, but none of them fix the problem for me. I have tried to launch the game by clicking the green play button in Steam, I've tried the desktop icon, and I've tried launching from the file explorer. All have the same result: Game "thinks" for about 5 seconds, and then nothing happens. The play button turns blue, and then back to green, not launching the game. I've reinstalled multiple times, got rid of all Microsoft updates back to January, and there are no...

Why why why people fix something that is not broken? Civ 2 was perfect ... why change. Its simply not the same and what a disappointment that the original game is not available in the store as I would buy it also. Cant you guys make the game simpler but include items like resource collection instead of simply irrigating. Make resource management a bit harder and the startup cultures a bit more heavy with startup tech and abilities. I will make the game that more impressive. Or combine bonus turns like uno to make it more riviting
