Online Multiplayer Beta
Hi everyone,

We would like to share details on the multiplayer features of Circuit Breakers.

When the game launches on 17th of November a fully supported local multi-player mode will be available, we’ve tested this for many, many hours and have had great fun shooting robots with friends! Up to four players can play together using 360 controllers and a keyboard.

We do have online multi-player working, however we understand that it needs just a little bit of attention before it becomes a fully-fledged online mode. Therefore the online portion will be currently named as “online beta”. Over the next few weeks we’d greatly appreciate any input or reporting any issues to us regarding the online beta.

Feel free report any issues to us at support@excalibur-publishing.com and we can begin eliminating them up to the final launch of Online Multi-player.

Just curious if the online multiplayer includes a server browser or matchmaking perhaps?

Anyone interested in playing online?
I can't host but I'll gladly join up with anyone who can.

Hi Tom,

I am afraid we need just a little more time on multiplayer. We will make a massive announcement in the new year. We may have a larger announcement to make soon too ;) stay tuned!

All the best,
Chris

Trying online multipler, didn't see any notes on how to setup it up but did some poking around and noticed port 6510 is being used. I opened those ports up and I can get people to join my lobby.

However, once we start the remote players' game crashes immediate with the level load with the following error:
___________________________________________
############################################################################################
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of Step Event0
for object obj_eneParent0:

Unable to find any instance for object index '0' name 'obj_enePlatform0'
at gml_Object_obj_eneParent0_Step_0
############################################################################################

Any suggestions or thoughts? Do I possibly need to allow another port through my firewall?
