Sora
Help for the struggling
I'm not really good at bullet hells. Trying though, but with Suguri being my first entry, and this my second... yeah. Love the games anyways.
I can get past Alte's level just fine with just the basic weapons, usually between half and all my health. Tsih's level though? Flat out beats me down. The mini-boss sucks half my health. Tsih finishes the job. Any tips on how to get through this? Especially the mini-boss and rock attacks?

Edit: I've watched videos on how to beat the level, but I can never replicate the results. I can't get sword spam to work and if I try it on Tsih I'm the one ending up taking damage. And with the miniboss I saw dodge at edge of screen until lasers are gone then dash away from missiles, but everytime I do it missiles hit the same time the lasers do.

You could stall the previous enemies who attack with those yellow wave like beam shots. Charge your gauge to 3 there. With that you can brute force the mid boss with most weapons and the 3 hypers you have.

Else you simply should wait at the right corner, dashing into the edge near the bottom or the top. When the missiles come try to walldash to the other end as slowly as possible.

Tsih's rocks are anticipated by white strings coming from her. If there is a spot where there are no strings you can just wait there, else you might try to get rid of the incoming rocks by either a hyper or a volley of ARTILLERY.

Well I finally beat it. I got the rifle-c and it gave me the edge. Made it with 25% health. Knowing about the strings with the rocks really helped, thank you. Mid-boss still gave me a run for my money though, and barely killed Tsih while at it. While she was cloaked even.

Then Dust curb-stomped me. I suck at these games, but I can't help but love em XD

I feel you man, i just barely got through Tsih myself with some really cheap sword spam/pods/machine gun hyper tries... And i haven't even seen 3rd stage boss yet

Being bad at shooters and still loving the games really is suffering :alte:

I...think a lot of people don't come into this game thinking they will be held up by the difficulty ._.;

It takes a while to get good at the game. I kept at it, but since it was fun it wasn't a bad thing. Only 8 stages and none of them are really super long means they had to keep you playing some how.

One thing I will say is that as you keep at it, things will just "click" and you'll suddenly see a huge improvement. Stage 4 is probably gonna be the biggest leap. You'll go back to earlier stages and find them kind of...well, too easy XD

Also if you double tap the lock on it will disable it, so that would help against Tsih so you don't target the rocks while she's cloaked. A little late now, but if you go back to a higher difficulty, it should help .w.

For the miniboss, I always destroy the top laser turrets. That way it's easier to dodge and even fire at the rockets, and I won't be caught off guard.

Also I should note some weapons are better against bosses than others. If you get to that point, the "Flamer" will easily cause Mira to catch on fire for their first two health bars, draining health stupidly fast.

With the miniboss of Dust, you should try going forward when it throws out the rockets to make some of them turn to fly up or down at you and then back off. It will make the rest easier to dodge.

I approve of this use of Alte

I apologize, I've been busy with other games I've gotten.

I know about the difficulty. It's a bullet hell, I've never played them before Suguri, and I was never good at that (Couldn't beat Nanako, but I could get to her)

For the rest of it, I'll keep those tips in mind. I'll probably end up with 100 matches and a bunch of OP weapons and somehow steamroll the game XD Thanks for the tips!

It's one of those games where I want to play for the story, but never can because of the huge difficulty. At least you can use the sword spam, I can't get the darn thing to work for the life of me. I even went back to training and I couldn't get a spam down.

I actually found stage 3 a lot more draining than stage 4 on hard mode. Mira is very hard to defeat until you get artillery and can destroy his homing knives when they bounce. With Sham it was pretty easy to just dash around the blocks which don't damage you unless they shove you into a wall. Also, stage 4's enemies there have more hp, but their attacks are slow and easier to dodge.

A lot of the reason the bosses are so hard is actually because you have to shift from the techniques you used for several minutes to rapidly destroy all the minions (before they spray too much flak), to a different set of strategies during a fight of endurance. It's much easier to beat a boss in match mode after enough consecutive plays.

That seems more like a personal thing, where you do way better on one boss than others do on it, only for you to have a tougher time on another. I know a lot of people, for some odd reason, find Stage 6 SB harder than Stage 7, even though it didn't take me long to beat her on Stage 6 at all the first time I played, but Stage 7 kept me playing for hours on end...

Mira doesn't really bother me as much as Sham. Sham is kind of...random in a way, Mira is way too straight forward so it's easier to see what they're doing. There's little that mixes it up too.

I dunno, i played suguri a lot so Sora wasn't that hard to transition too.

All i know is Sword + Dash attack is really really strong and is how i beat 3 out of the 7 special bosses in aroud a minute

Any Weapon besides Sword, bullet or the first laser they give you is just too slow for Special imo
