Story mode too hard...

I really, really enjoy this game, I want too at least. I think the story and characters are fascinating, and the combat is really great. But it is an incredibly hard game, even on easy mode. It took me hours just to beat the last two stages.

I really wish there was like an infinite HP cheat so that I could just enjoy the game's story and atmosphere. I would love to show this game off to friends as well in like a stream, but if it means I gotta die several times because of my skill issue, it might not be worth it lol

Anyone know if there's any mods or methods to play the game in like a story-only run where you don't take damage? (Just enjoying for the dialogue and cutscenes, achievements will be impossible to get in this mode I presume, to balance it)

There is an infinite HP cheat, it's called Bazooka Dash Attack. Once you start mashing this your health bar will never go down again!!!

Learn the stage layouts and boss patterns, there's quite a few good replays to copy from on youtube. After all that ur HP starts going down less

While I'm aware you can use the Konami Code(?) in Suguri, I don't think that applies here.

As Chris said, bazooka dash attack is your friend. You can use your hypers to drain heat due to their shield.

I've found a no commentary run of this game before, too, so if you really just can't get good, so to speak, you can look up a full game run on YouTube.
