That said, the exact nuances of who owns what and how is something that can never be meaningfully discussed in public. Legal mumbo-jumbo and all that.
Edit: Very odd. I checked out GamersGate on a whim, and all of RA's games have been pulled from the service. They're still available on Desura and Rice, though. Probably means little, but something to think about, I guess.
I'm glad RA didn't get a chance to ruin this game. Sorry, but I've been disappointed with how they handled a few of the games they've relased. Especially Diadra Empty, which has bugs that make the game in effect unplayable persist to this day.
yeah RA went down hill after bunny must die. by the way, whatever happen with wayforward team for bunny must die?
Fruitbat has done a great job on updating games to work flawlessly, quickly solving any problems that pop up.
Originally Rocking Android acquired the rights to both Suguri and AoS, but OmegaTH had Sora's rights so RA couldn't publish it. Because of that Fruitbat Factory was later able to acquire the rights and republish the game, so, in a very unexpected way, OmegaTH actually saved the franchise.
Nah, just kidding, screw them to hell.
I'd like to make clear I shouldn't be quoted as a reliable source on that. In fact, I was able to have a lobby game once, but they failed in every other attempt so I'd classify them as "broken".
They even changed the texture engine, greatly reducing the file size and loading times, and made efforts to add widescreen support. Sora's republishing was just amazing.
I can't even play AoS because I can't bind the spacebar to my physical weapon fuuuuuu
