How do I save labels?

When I modify and label equipment such as "Thrust" or "lift" on a control, it allows me to make a label when Im in fly mode but when I go back to build mode it goes back to blank and in build mode doesn't allow me to label anything.

Set the label in build mode. Look at label > hit "E" > Type your stuff > Hit "E" again to confirm.

Thanks, I must have a keybinding issue as the E button does nothing when facing the label spot.

"Enter" may also work.

in build mode if you have a block selected you cant edit labels or interact with some objects. hit ~ (key left of 1 on most keyboards) to empty your hand then try pressing E on the label
