  • For those experiencing input issues with Xbox One controllers, please try installing the latest official drivers[catalog.update.microsoft.com] from Microsoft below (PC may require a restart).

UPDATE: For users experiencing launch issues with the game, please let us know the downloaded size of your game in addition to your PC specifications. The game should be roughly 3963 MB once downloaded, as indicated by right-clicking on the game, selecting "Properties" and clicking the "LOCAL FILES" tab. Additionally, please ensure you have followed the steps outlined below.

We hope you’re all enjoying or will be enjoying Umbrella Corps™ / Biohazard Umbrella Corps™ shortly! While we hope all of our fans will have a great time with the game, there will always be some cases here and there where the game may not function correctly under certain environments and / or hardware combinations. With that said, we’ve set up this feedback thread for you all to share any technical issues you may be having with the game. We’ll use this thread as a central repository for tracking these problems, and pass on the information gathered here to the development team so they can investigate and work on a fix.

Before providing reporting further, please ensure you've followed the steps below to rule out problems with Steam or the game’s files:

  • Check your Anti-Virus software
  • Some AV software may trigger a false-positive situation and flag certain executables from running. You can temporarily disable the AV software to see if the game behaves differently. If the game runs when AV is turned off, that means you'll need to create an exception rule to Umbrella Corps.
  • Ensure game files are intact using Verify Game Cache

How to Verify Integrity of Game Cache
1) From your Steam Library list, right-click on Umbrella Corps™ / Biohazard Umbrella Corps™ and select Properties.
2) Click the LOCAL FILES tab.
3) Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." and allow the validation process to run its course. Please disable or shut down your anti-virus while this process runs.

This process allows the Steam client to scan every single file you downloaded for this game, verify checksum of each, and compare that against the file manifest data on Steam's content server. If the file is missing or has a different checksum value, you will receive a message stating "X files failed to validate and will be reacquired." What this means is that some files have either been deleted, or may have been corrupted. Click “Close,” and Steam will automatically download and / or replace the problem files.

Reinstalling your video card drivers
We also recommend making sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Some high end integrated graphics chips and modern laptop class discrete GPUs may work but have not been tested, nor are they officially supported by Capcom.

If you still experience crash issues, you may want to try performing a clean installation of the driver set. This will remove any extraneous driver DLL files or game profiles that existed with the previous driver installation.

IMPORTANT! Lastly, please don't forget to reboot Windows upon completing the driver installation. This will help reinitialize the driver and the graphics card using the new driver.

Reporting crashes
If you still experience poor framerate, “slow motion” effects, crashes, or other issues, please help the dev team by providing detailed information below.

The more samples and data points we receive, the better we are able to narrow down and determine the root cause of these problems. Here’s what we need:

A) Your System Specs
1) CPU name & model
2) Name / model of the desktop or laptop (if available)
3) Graphics card / chip model and the amount of VRAM
4) Video driver version number
5) System memory size
6) OS version (Windows 7, 8, 10, 64-bit/32-bit, etc.)
7) Anti-virus software name and version

Please make special note in your specs if you are running Windows "N" and "K" editions that do not come with Windows Media Player.

A good deal of this information, such as the graphics card model and VRAM, are available by running a DxDiag report. For more information on how to run this report, click here.[www.fuzeqna.com]

B) Specific issue
Please share your specific issue and the location(s) where you’re experiencing the issues – for example, if you’re having problems with the framerate, is it happening constantly, or is it during certain cutscenes, during gameplay, etc.

If the game is crashing, it would be super useful if you can share your app crash log file via downloadable link using any one of the popular file hosting services such as DropBox, GoogleDrive, OneDrive, etc.

C) Detailed reproduction steps, if consistently reproducible
This step particularly is very useful for the development team. The more detailed info you can provide, the quicker the team can reproduce the error state and (hopefully) fix the issue.

can you fix key binding settings.
i want to switch crouch key from "C" to "left control" but for some reason the game wont recognize or read my "left control" key....i know im not the only one with this problem.
fix mause movement it sucks at the moment.

round ended and brought up results screen but it wont end the match, we are stuck looking at the over head map.

For Anyone that is Having the Issue of the Gaming Closing After the Nvidia Logo, Here are the Steps to Correct that.

-Right Click Resident Evil Umbrella Corps On Steam
-Go to Local Files
-Right Click Resident Evil Umbrella Corps Launcer
-Troubleshoot With Windows
-This Game Requires More Premission
-Save Settings
-Enjoy Game!!!!

The .exe crashes immediately after pressing 'play' in my library.

MOUSE AIMING: it doesn't work well, seems like there's some problem with mouse acceleration or something like that. It just feels HORRIBLE.

TRANSLATION (ITA): there's a problem with the Italian translation for the advanced graphic settings. In fact it says "Massimo" (Maximum) for the "Basso" (Low) preset, making you think that it is higher then "Alto" (High) but giving you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphic instead LOL

OVERHEATING(?): i don't know, but this games make my VGA burn for the graphic it has... I mean, I achieve 68°C with Dragon Age Inquisition maxed out (that is one of the less heat-friendly game out there) and almost 70°C with this game. During the loading screens it goes over 600 fps, and the fans start to run like hell. I have still to try to set a fps limiter from the option menu to 60fps, but still this is weird.

B) Issues:
1) Xbox one controller isn't supported by the game. D-Pad directions are mapped wrong, and acts as if buttons are pressed when they are not, this makes it impossible to use the controller with the game.
2) controller needs to be plugged in before launching the game or the game will not accept the input from the device.
3) the game defaulted to using integrated card instead of Nvidia card. (can be changed in the nvidia control panel), but the game crashes when trying to launch on an integrated card (Intel HD Graphics 530)
4) overall framerate is unstable. not stable 60fps even at lowered resolution
5) non-existant texture quality setting in the options.

when you put the headphones Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma because when I put the helmet on his my game crashes and when I put it on the walls of my television the game works perfectly there is a compatibility problem with your game and razer headphone kraken 7.1 chroma

Still it's absurd that no one of the "customer service" replied at ANY of the other posts in the forum.

What's the purpouse of a customer service if it does not offer any kind of "service" for the customers? LOL
