Is this worth $6 for just the single-player stuff?

I'm contemplating it just for the hell of it since I can't decide what to spend my last few sale bux on, would it be worth it or nah?

The single player stuff seems kinda trash but the game itself seems fun to me. If you get it add me up to play a few.

Multiplayer is completely dead and the single player is basically the same mission repeated 20 times, it's a very bad game.

Multiplayer is dead.
Singleplayer is the same mission, offline version of multplayer match where you have to collect x amout of samples or kill x amout of enemies, replayed like 20 times.
In short no - its not worth it even for 1 dollar.
Save your money and buy something that doesnt have 20% of positive reviews.

The Umbrella Corps Experiments are a lot of fun. I've played through them all tons of times. Unfortunately they never made a full set of missions for the Spanish Village or the two new areas they released. :-(

But yes, Experiments is a hell of a lot of fun. Not as good as ORC's missions, but you'll have fun, yes. Extremely difficult and punishing, but rewarding. Snippets of story in between that's canon. Good time.

You're not fooling anyone when every reviewer has slammed this game and is seen in just about every top 10 worst games list not to mention it's mostly negative on Steam.

Difficult and punishing, definitely yes. But rewarding? No way. The "rewards" you get from playing The Experiment are just lame stickers and one Achievement. You don't get any new weapon or costume, and you can't customize your character for those missions because customization is only available for the multiplayer modes.

Also, the "story" of The Experiment is just a bunch of poorly written texts that add very little to the franchise's lore since most of the plot in this game is covered by fog.

Poorly? More like child fanfiction level of bad. They are just there to waste your time.

Tbh I ended up buying it then refunding it after half an hour because it would crash within two minutes of starting a level ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh btw, there is no asking developers for help here.
They stop supporting and patching the game a month after release and stop responding on thread about reporting glitches. Just if you wanted to know that.
