Controller's not working

Anybody else having this problem? I can't get any of my gamepads to work with this game

I've tried:
PS4 Dual Shock
Xbox 360 Wired
Xbox One Wired
Generic Dual Shock Gamepad

hm..that would be a no go for me. i want to play it on the tv with steam link.

Same here. I really don't want to have to get a keyboard for my steam link, considering my couch is about 30+ feet away from the steam link

Did you guys change Game Controller on Configs, my controller only worked if i do so.

yeah when you start the game a config window shows up

select the gamepad you wanna usw before you start the game

gamepad works like a charm over here

using inputmapper with a ps4 pad, usually shows as a 360 pad, no option does anything.

Mine didn't work initially , so

I used Motion Joy (free to download), activated it (driver/then activate in the GUI) then set for 'Xinput' on little king story, then started

Yep, nothing, not racking up any more minutes on this until a patch, otherwise i'll invalidate my refund, i'll see what happens.

tried every option on that menu. nothing worked

for some reason it helped for me to unplug my xbox360 controller and plug it into another slot - no idea why but that fixed it.

Worked just fine for me. As someone said, make sure you're selecting the right kind of controller in the config menu at startup.

Launch the game from Big Picture mode, it worked for me.

I know this is super old, but for anyone else coming along I got it to work by going into the game's settings on steam and disabling the controller there.

This also fixed it for me, I use a xbox one controller and selected the Generic Xinput option.

My xbox controller works, but it stops working as soon as the game hits night time. This is unplayable like this for me. Thank God I only spent about 4 Euro for this trash. Loved the Wii version - should have listened to the reviews concerning this port.
