Audio issues

Is anyone else having audio issues with the game when you talk to someone in the game. Because i hear a crack sound everytime I do.

Yeah I hear it too. The start screen is the worst for me

Are you guys plaing with stereo settings or surround sound? It's fine for me on stereo.

I can confirm going to Sound in the Control Panel and switching to Stereo fixes it.

I had this issue; I was only getting game audio when pre-rendered cutscenes were playing. I changed my audio in the Control Panel from 7.1 to Stereo and no longer having audio issues.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't finding the option in there. Don't know why my headphones were set up as 5.1

So we cant use 7.1? I have to switch to stereo?

Currently there is some popping/static issues with 5.1 and 7.1 it seems. Don't know why. XSeed may fix it though.

Excellent, because my headphones automatically keep setting themselves to 5.1 whenever I'm not watching them. I'm very irritated at them.
