No audio in General

I just got this game recently due to pure nostalgia and for some unknown reason, I only get audio during cutscenes and nothing else, any fix for this at all? It definitely isnt a controller issue in the slightest as I originally tried playing it with keyboard.

I'm not sure sorry, try reinstalling. It is well known though that the game has quite a few bugs.

i've just installed the game and i'm with the same problem, there's sound only in the cutscenes, i wonder if anyone could help

try this: go to path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Little King's Story (it could be different depends on where you have installed steam) and run the LittleKingStory.exe executable directly.
It's not a "real" solution, but it's a workaround that allows me to hear the audio as well.
When you double click on the exe you should see a dialog box telling you that you are doing it -fromlauncher, hit ok and it should work.

For everyone, The best solution is to just continuously restart the game until it works. I generally have to do it about twice for it to have audio. It's time consuming and annoying I know but it's what I have found to work.

i turned the intro movie off and that worked for me.

sometimes due to plugging in a controller your computer can think that your controller is a audio output option so make sure in your sound settings that it is still your headphones or speakers

Hey, I had the same issue... I had to constantly close the launcher and open it until the sound eventually worked.

The game's still full of bugs and the developers are unlikely to patch them. I have sent them a few emails, but unfortunately no response.
