What Server should you pick?
Well I know for a fact most of the new players will just join the YIN server because its a "Fresh Start" but be warned, The New Server is Heavy PVP Based.

The Former server that has been open for a while has a bigger population at the moment and is Minor PVP based with PVE Maps. Basically like a hybrid version.

Please take care to join the server to fitted to your play style.

Tao = Pvp/Pve Hybrid
Yin(New) = Heavy Pvp

Yeah, I don't plan on it either. I mean i do want to make a Character just to log and PK people every now and then. But I mainly will be on Tao. :)

From my perspective playing MMO's for PvE is like playing Football on a Basketball field.

Well for one thing basketball isn't played on a field to begin with...

Grinding in and questing in MMOs requires PvE otherwise how are people going to get stronger levels and gear? PvP doesn't serve that purpose--it doesnt make you stronger (maybe in certain other MMOs; this not being one). PvP is what you do WHEN you PvE'd to the point your comfortable with TO PvP.

There is PvP in Tao just fine. The difference in Yin is that it's uncontrolled and unmoderated in more areas. Meaning you may be forced (or even camped) to PvP when you just dont want to, not ready to, or clearly can't win.

Where's the fun if the PvP is controlled and moderated?

I dont think youre really understanding. Both maps have the same pvp. In the same way.

PvP isnt everything. If thats what you play for thats awesome, but dont go thinking thats all there is and should be to MMOs because i have to say thats just foolish.
