I did read but it doesnt say you will get the update but just a hope so i didnt believe it. I wrote my post before i tried though. Now when i got free key for civ4 i can confirm 2KSupport is fast and trustworthy. Only hard thing left to do is to install those GB of civ again. I hope it will work then.

Now it's time to add GNU/Linux support.

I'm really appreciating the sale of the 2k games this weekend. 2k has some great games such as borderlands and civilization series. I really like the civ 3 and 4 games would like to see them supported multiplayer, especially civ 3 one of the best games ever. Borderlands are also great please support them as well.
Yes I own the retail versions of civ 3 and 4 like many people on here complaining, but you cannot play with them on multiplayer anymore get over it, purchase them on steam on sale. They are really cheap this weekend don't miss out.

Cant update the multiplayer patch no updates availbe ?

My steam version doesn't have the GameSpy patch. Did they just decide to not include the patch for the Mac version or something, wtf?
Trying to play Internet Multiplayer, but it's asking for GameSpy ID details, which don't exist and can't sign up.

If you submit a support request now, it doesnt show Civ IV as one of the games to submit support for. I only just now wanted to do multiplayer for Civ IV with some friends so.. I have no clue what to do now. Impasse.

I just downloaded the game and all of the download worked but the game stalls and wont pull up eitherr from steam itself or the shortcut. I have windows 10. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I bought Civ 4 long time ago on disc and cant play it anymore on windows vista, I just repurchased the steam version. Dont think is fair to pay twice for a game.
