well i have played civ 5 but is 4 a good game too?

Game spamming popups about me not having a voice capture device and im not even playing with people, nor would i want game to access such stuff. Any way to disable that garbage?

So I have a 1050 Ti with 4017 MB of VRAM and Windows 10 and I was wondering if any of you know if it'll still run Civ 4 and Beyond the Sword dvd disks? Thank you.

Reinstalled the game on a whim, and got a few hours in. I've noticed that the start of turn notifications for events happening seem to be ... delayed? Sometimes I can be 15-30 seconds into a turn and it's still occasionally telling me of something that happened between turns. This means that if I skip a turn too early, I might miss relevant information. Is this a known issue with any potential mod or patchfix? I haven't touched Civ IV in ages, so I can't remember if this is normal or some kind of Windows ...
