1 - they can pass on their active and passive skills of their current job after peon fusion.
2 - they can increase stat growths for one character after fusion at the cost of mugen points and reverting two characters back to level 1
early on, peons can only learn one incredibly weak attack skill through leveling and you will need to unlock other 2 or 3 other active skills inside the Mugen Dev Center.
default peons are obviously worse than the main characters. the default peons only earn 1 active skill through leveling up and a few more in the dev center in the mugen field.
example: tier 1 soldier will only earn "flash", which is the weakest blade skill in the game.
main characters can earn at least 10 skills through leveling up with the exception of Chou-Chou. She earns about 8x the amount of skills since she has 8 forms, so she learns 80 skills.
