Online you can even cheese with war drum (4~2,1); it is -16, but due to conditions of input delay, it sometimes will hit opponents or they won't punish it on time. If you think they'll go with a jab test, you can use qcf2 for a high crush, is a high, and safe -8 on block launcher (you can use u/f1 too, but it's a mid variation that is -12 on block). Also, Julia has a similar move like Law's d2,3 or Anna's d3,2, which is d4,2; it is a low counter-hit launcher that is only -14 on block. Use FC mix-up sparingly (bow and arrow or ws1). Then there's the bear trap cancel into FC mix-up as well. You can do another FC mix-up from SS2 (mid), or trick them with the SS4 (low), OR use ss3 which is another safe mid that wall-splats on hit. Hop kick when you're in a bind. She has some pretty nasty okizeme if you look some up.
For steppers, you can use moves like b4 or ff4 (+2 on block). She also has a safe mid i13 wall bouncer that has some considerable push-back. Very good move. Another note, if you can do f,f,f3 do so for pressure, if not you can stick with ff1 and ff3~1 for more pressure. Lastly, you can try to throw out the handstand kick (ss3+4), it's -21 but Julia moves a few distance away so it might not be as punishable to some characters. Amazingly good character with a lot of utility. You can probably find other set-ups or so to cheese with her if you scavenge through her move-list.
Can I ask you what I'm suppose to do after ff1? It leaves me right in front of them feeling a little exposed
Thanks! I'm gonna try all this on practice mode, she is surprisingly good, why does she have all these tools! She even has an air throw! A guy cheesed me out so bad with her! I was inspired to learn all her tools!
Great Share! Thanks!
