Because I predicted from start that Tekken 8 will be bad and what do u know it is via many ways , Thus I never likely touch tekken 8 and occationally come and go via Tekken 7

My PC does not support part 8 (in the demo version there was only 30-60fps, this is not enough). For that reason, part 7 is still more or less alive, and from the experience of veterans, I learned that if I learn to play for some characters in the old parts, then I will thoroughly be able to play them in the new parts. (Of course, this means the main characters, not minor ones).

I dropped back in to play the story since I had never done that. And I want to occasionally play some of the characters that aren't in 8: Kasumi, Kunimitsu, Eliza, Julia...

I'm no expert at this, but the characters I played in both parts are all completely different in 8. The whole combat is overhauled and they don't really share a moveset anymore. Not even the rage attack is the same.

didn't touched T8 but seeing the gameplay and mechanic and some videos, i feel T7 looks more to my liking, i do enjoy a fighting game where defense pay up along with good match up knowledge and fundamenals.

that and my main not being in T8 even tho he is legacy char.
