Best cheap arcade joystick for PC users
Whats the best arcade stick that is relatively cheap? I was thinking of getting the Qanba Drone for $49.99, but I heard the stick was a little loose. Anyone used one and think it's worth getting? I have been playing with Xbox One pad up til now.

I can't tell you about the Qanba Drone because I own a Qanba Obsidian.

But at that price, I say it is worth trying out if you want to switch to stick. I had been playing on DS4 before switching, so right after switching, I experienced quite a lot of regret soon after especially because the Obsidian is rather pricey. I had a lot of issues with movement, execution etc. for a week or 2 as I was trying to get used to stick. But luckily, I soon got used and all the problems went away.

But I would say the price is really good if you are testing out. But if you are really convinced that you are going to make the switch permanent, you might want to consider a higher end one.

I started out with a Mayflash Arcade F300, which is 60 EUR, where I live. It was a gift. It did the job for me. I eventually made the transition to a Hori RAP 4 (which I got for 100 EUR) and it was pretty smooth. You defenitly feel a difference but I could learn the fundamentals with my Mayflash no problem.
With that being said, If you have the cash to start out with a more advanced Stick for 150$ or something, or get a good deal on a used one for less, I would consider that, too. Arcade Sticks, at least the better ones, are pretty sturdy and retain their value fairly well. So if you find yourself dreading to play on Stick in the end, you could resell it for a fare share of the original buying price.
Oh, and prepare to learn this game all over again. I was trash at first when I started playing Stick but in the end it really worked out for me. Hope this helps and have fun!

I got a brand new HORI rap N (soul calibur version) on ebay for like $90. And after I bought it I got an email showing me that it had gone down to 75 so I know you can find those sticks for cheap sometimes. It does not come with Sanwa parts but neither does the drone. I found the lever to be pretty loose so I ended up modding mine and installing a Crown 309-MJ korean lever and it feels amazing. The buttons are Hayabusa and they feel fine imo. Very sensitive. If you have the cash for one of these I would go with it instead. And if you have even more cash to spare try out a korean lever.

You're better off in the long run saving your money and going for a more expensive stick. I just upgraded from a mayflash 300 to a HORI rap N and I wish I had bought the HORI first. It cost me $170 on amazon but it's absolutely worth it. Don't go the cheap route, just save up for a good one.

Seconded.
Cheap sticks are worse than pad.
