That being said, Jin is definitely overtuned in right hands.
2,1,/4 is actually insane alone.
F4, Db4, D4, B2,1 etc.
He is still more fun to fight than 50/50 Hellsweep Kaz Vortex mash though which is just boring at any rank.
ิsince i can't do Jin's electric consistently
ิbut if we talk about game plan, he have answer for every situation
and can do everything at decent level
good mixup
good range
good Oki
good CH
good damage
has safe launcher
compare to gimmicky characters that ppl complain about
they are either
- very linear
or
- very risk
or
- poor mixup (Fake mixup)
or
- poor fundamental tools
or
- poor range
or
- all above combined
I get Kaz can be boring to face, especially after about 7 in a row. But you gotta see how hard high-level Kaz gameplay is to execute. Kaz requires space to be effective. Look at the noob characters like Howarang or Paul or Jin who have or id even say, Lee. They all have really good damage and apart from Paul definitely have great pressure and mixups.
If I play against Hoarang for example, i literally have to back up or spend 90% of the match blocking and using counters (which Kaz is great for). But here's the thing. Kaz is very good to use against low-skilled players, but once someone figures out his usual moves and combos, it becomes very difficult be effective with him.
MMSWE says it best, Kaz players will lose 20 matches to get that one win. The stats don't lie, he has a very low win % compared to a lot of other characters online.
Jin has a much lower win rate than Kaz.
Does that mean he has to work harder?
