Why do the graphics look worse than Tekken 6 on PS3?

UPDATE: It's already been confirmed that the E3 trailer has particulary bad video compression (during gameplay, the cinematic section does not suffer so much).

Whilst many companies do not put up such poor quality promotional videos on Youtube and there are many good quality vids of all sorts of games on there, with adequate representation, it seems that it is not the case in this instance.

The graphics are better. But Tekken does not change much. They even copy the characters from previous game and just give them some more movesets

It will look much better on a pc with GTX 970 or better and a 1440p monitor or higher. Especialy if they pc exculive feautures like 4k textures

Yeah yeah, 2x980ti at 1440p. You do realise that the trailer is the best setting possible - it may not even be the technology at fault but just the quality of the art.

Well, for such a niche genre, especially after SF5's Ken's banana hair and Karin's fusilli hair, and KOF14's PS2 texture and models, I would say Tekken7 looks astounishing.

They must use 4k textures Nvidia gamemworks and DX12/Vulkan so the game can make full use of the pc hardware and look the best it can on each pc . Since i am getting a 1440p monitor on friday and i already have GTX 970 G1 GAMING i expect it to look at least as good as the E3 traielr they released if not better when i play it max settings 1440p at release date.. If by the time the game releases i have upgraded my pc like a 1070 and DDR 4 ram and 6700k or something then it will look for sure better than the E3 trailer. My pc currently is 2500k 12 GB DDR3 1600 MHZ GTX 970. Of course Tekken 7 pc version will look better than the KOF PS4 because PS4 dosent have not even half the power that a powerful gaming pc has..

Tekken 6 was sharper, cleaner, this benefitted the feel of the fighting gameplay enormously. Replay the Azuma/Heihachi fight and keep pausing it - feels cheap, muddy, they seem to be taking Street Fighter as an inspiration for the art, which is a big mistake.

Tekken 6 runniing on 360 and ps3 at 720p without the high quality graphics unreal engine 4 can achieve on pc looks better? You can not be serious? Just rewatch the E3 PC gameplay of Tekken 7 at 1080p or higher and thrn you will see which one looks better

It's quite apparent that I'm referring to the E3 trailer - look at the gameplay parts - pause them. The technology is not an improvement but it could be down to the standard of the artists.

None of the footage online does the game justice right now. Unless we get fully incompressed raw video files to download (yay 10GB for 10 minutes). Youtube is terrible for video games. There's tons and tons of compression.
