TEKKEN 7: PC or PlayStation 4?
This is the big question in my opinion. What do you guys think is more suitable for a fighting game of this caliber? Tekken debuted its franchise on the PlayStation, so one would assume that the best place to play Tekken 7 on, would be the PS4.

Ideally, for someone who's looking for the best choice possible, and an owner of both a gaming rig alongside a white PS4, which platform do you think I should choose?

I'm just looking for a ton of people that I can just matchmake with and not for the game to die out in two weeks after launch, like WWE 2K16 for example.

Thoughts?

UPDATE 1/4/17: I do not have a PS4 anymore. I'm going to buy this game through Steam and test its limits. It's about time us PC gamers should stop worrying about console succeeding the PC platform and take a stand, pushing the sales as high as the stars for PC to anticipate a revolution for this platform when it comes to game genres such as fighting.

PC of course! Best graphics best image quality up to 4k resolutrion online for free! If the netcoe of he pc version is well like Ultra street fighter 4 and Skullgirls(i can find players online at any time on both of them even now after so many years) then the pc version wl be alive and well online for many years until tekken 8 release, just like USF4 and Skullgirls are alive and well on pc. But if it has bad netcoee,. crashes, lag, et.c. like MK10 and Injustice then most people will stop playing but even on Mortal Kombat 10 that is currently the worst online fighter on pc due to bad netcode i can still find people to play. So yes the pc version will be the best if online is made right but even if online has problem it will still be the best looking version for offline multiplayer(two players on the same pc with wireless 360 or xbox one controllers i do it some times with a fat and ugly friend of mine who is also a big fighting fan) and for offiline single player.

Both. Depends on playerbase though. Rather here.

Both No matter which one but for someone like that only have a PC so I choose pc Thats why I hate Exclusive games for a platform

Thats why I hope for crossplay with ps4. Because the PC only playerbase will die quickly off...

Tekken 6's netcode was fairly well done from what I remember, back in the good ol' days. Lets remember for a second, they delayed it so much just so they could give us a PC version on release.

But the thing is, something as big as cross-platform play should be announced DURING E3 week not in the distant future prior to the launch date.

PS4 will always have players, but PC is the best choice for graphics and it's cheaper (by cheaper I mean I don't have to pay £40 for a year's PS+ membership, when I can just play on Steam for free).

In spite of all of this, I am most certainly not sure if I should go to the PS4 for the original playerbase, or stick with PC.

WWE 2K did a bad job for PC player-base containment, and so I'm hoping TEKKEN 7 will avoid this crisis.

It seems like most fighting game fans have PS4's, but a fair few people in the Street Fighter community prefer the PC versions, PC is a valid platform option this generation with a lot of multi platform games seeing a PC release, Tekken 7 will also be the only 3D fighting game on the platform with fully functional multiplayer after DOA5 was... dead on arrival.
Of course, cross platform play would nullify the platform choice a bit, but i doubt we'll see that here, i'm sticking with PC as it's my primary platform, i'm on it all the time already so having Tekken ready to go at any time sounds dreamy.

Both, I wouldnt spent not even half buck on a ps4, so im getting the steam version
unclassified 2016 年 6 月 14 日 下午 4:11
when you have a ps4 and there is no crossplay i would go for the ps4 version because of the general larger playercount. but i think the pc community will be healthy too.

Only a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pays for online and locks themself out of input device choices.

I agree with unclassified and you Pedrohzs. I also appreciate the rest of your opinions, I think I will get it on PC first seeing as how it's cheaper, I own a GTX 970 GPU meaning I should be able to run it at max and this will be the first triple A game on Steam that I pre-purchase just so I can get in on all the multiplayer fun and action prior to any sort of low PB count date.

I'd still play it and do like what I did with WWE 2K16. :steamhappy:

PC is better if the port ends up being good. If the port is bad, go with PS4. Simple.

Xbox doesn t count? hm,hihihi XD
shadowflash 2016 年 6 月 15 日 下午 3:33
Wait for release? It can be PC is same or better than PS4 - then PC is obvious choice. If it worse - then PS4, if it's Street Fighter V again... nothing until they will patch the game.
Necropants 2016 年 6 月 15 日 下午 7:28
Tekken 6's netcode was awful.

However TTT2 and Tekken revolution has the best online I have played yet for any game

Ill be getting this on PC and hoping for crossplay so I never have to buy a console this gen at all.

I am also salivating over the propect of playing a tekken game in 3dvision ...

If Namco is smart they will unify the community and have all versions crossplay with each other.
