xbox fanboy.
The point is 2% of sales Happen on Windows Store it is a bust and a failure, which is why spencer said all games from now on on windows store will have cross play you buy once and play on either against anyone on either platform.
Thats his vision for Windows Store because it has nothing else to offer and the Xbox One playerbase advantage for Cross Play makes it a no brainer.
Yes there are many people yourself included who say MKXL is not coming for PC and while you are probably correct, only the village idiot actually believes it. This is the point I am trying to make. I am not calling someone a village idiot it is people who are making themselves to be the village idiot do you understand now?
That would also make it pretty cool if we could buy Tekken then directly from its site and not go through any 3rd party like steam, windows store or the consoles.
I'm still trying to understand how your brain jumps to the conclusion that Tekken 7 will get a Windows Store release, that has a different playerbase than the Steam version, because of what this Spencer guy says as if it applies to anything but Microsoft exclusive games like Halo and GoW.
There's just no way Bandai is actually going to let the playerbases be split up like that. That would be incredibly stupid of them and Steam has been the platform touted for PC since they made the announcement.
And the thing I learned after SFV is that crossplay is nothing without good netcode. The game don't need crossplay with great netcode, Tekken 7 would be active for many years with GGPO on PC alone and GGPO/roll-back netcode likely cost less than crossplay implementation.
PS Looks like W10 and its "fantastic" DX12 strikes again!:
