It is not street fighter. You have treasure mode (series of fights against random cpu controlled characters, arcade mode, story mode).
This is not SF5 to not have vs cpu mode.

It was possible if you went into player versus and use Cheat Engine to force Player 2 to be CPU-controlled.

Due to multiple updates this functionality is now broken and no longer works.

The original creator seems to have abandoned the project and I don't have anough skill to fix it. So dead end!

Annoys the hell out of me that WE THE PLAYERS have to waste our time and mess with the game just to get have basic features that should have been there in the first place. Would have been extremely easy for the devs to add.

Ye, I find it strange that so many modes are omitted without a given reason why. I'd also like an explanation as to why there are so many damn T-shirts in the game but lack of actual meaningful customisation. Plus, they keep adding more T-shirts! XD

Tshirts take less effort than cpu mode.

That's true. Literally, the T-shirts are all just a texture, but CPU mode wouldn't take much more effort either. They already have VS player and they have the CPU programmed for VS in practice mode, all they literally need to do is allow VS in Tekken 7 to use the CPU if needs be. I mean, at least it would give the programmers working on Tekken something to do

At this point I'll be happy even if it's DLC, as long as they add it.

Honestly, it's looking like it's Character DLC and free T-shirts from here on out for Tekken lol. I'm not sure they'll do a season pass 3 for more characters though because we'd be approaching TTT2 levels of too many characters to balance. Harada said he'd like to avoid this. Who knows? Maybe season 2 pass will sell really well for the legacy Characters and so they'll bring more

There is no contradiction here, Kurisu.

Free update is preferable, but if I have no choice but to pay a small amount, it is still better than messing with CE hoping it won't break on next update.

Also, we need a new hub for discussing Tekken modding, because Zetaboards is dead. The moderator has gone missing or something and you can't post anything.

We need a discord server or something.

I just find that mindset amusing. "How dare the Devs take something away from us players... We'll pay you if you add it back T_T.." it kinda sounds like "gamer Stockholm syndrome". Not really talking about you specifically but I've seen that here quite a few times here and it kinda reminded me of that.

In this instance, Tekken never really had Vs. CPU, only in Tekken 5 DR. Modes like Survival, Time Attack, Arcade, Ghost Battle, and Team Battle have appearances in pretty much every main Tekken game. Tekken Force has appeared in one form or another from Tekken 3-6, these sorta things are more reasonable to ask for as they are more staple to the series. Vs. CPU would be appreciated too though

On principle, I wouldn't feel comfortable paying for things that were staple to other games that had been removed in the base version of Tekken 7, especially because the content in it is so sparse but that's just me.

I can't really comment on modding as it doesn't interest me. I only use 1 mod because the game is missing native DS4 prompts..
