the thing that makes him extra tricky for me is that it takes a lot of work to get results with him, and he lacks really large scale and powerful options that so many other characters have to get random launches and damage. you have to get a counterhit to get the most out of lee, but that takes a lot of work and you have to take risks to get the other player to think about pressing buttons. if youre the type that can analyze an opponent very well and execute an effective counterplay, then you can get some good results with lee, but its a lot of work
i wanted to play lee for a while as a sub, but i recently picked up katarina. with asuka (good defensive counterplay) as my main and katarina (similar good counterplay and good buttons and offense) as my sub, theres really no reason at all to play lee
