Anyone played Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) and if so what was it like?

I have a bunch of TTT2 videos on my recommendations and decided to watch them. Honestly, I'm more entertained from the TTT2 evo videos than tekken 7 tournament videos. The graphics look really nice and it also looks more... fast paced? I never played TTT2 and i tried downloading the game on an emulator but it's broken.

I played it alot. Personally, I prefer Tekken 7 over TTT2. Apparently TTT2 almost killed the franchise, but I'm not sure if that's correct. Never been a fan of 2v2 in Tekken. 1v1 fits it more for me, and the tag mechanics were terrible, in my opinion.

I never played it seriously though, so I can't act as if I know everything about it.

Interesting. I had some people tell me they didn't like the game either but I also heard some good things about it.

Tag 2 is a terribly balanced game compared to Tekken 7. Rage damage was insane and would often lead to death or 90% combos if you knew what you were doing. Fun as a party game though.

It was ♥♥♥♥, juggles that took away 3/4 of your life bar or more, just from one hopekick to the face, the damage was insane coupled with rage and tag crash, and if you're still not dead after it, guess wrong on wake up cause ground game is much stronger in this game, considering that you can come up with a ♥♥♥♥ load of setup's because of a ♥♥♥♥ load of characters that you can pair up with other characters.

Capoera characters were ridiculous with a counter hit confirmable b+1,4 launcher.
