Is it worth buying the standard edition?

I am thinking about buying this game but I don't want to spend £16 on the Ultimate Edition because I don't think I will seriously get into it. Is the standard edition and if I get it, will I be missing out a lot?

It's worth it. 37 base characters and like 90% is OG Tekken chars. Season passes are just additional characters, and if you're not gonna be hooked on the base game itself, the DLC isn't gonna change your mind IMO.

The ultimate edition doesn't unlock all the characters btw. It only unlocks lei, anna, armor king, and marduk.

Getting the standard edition is fine but if you do start getting into the game seriously you may have to buy all the dlc characters (stages are not important) so you can know the matchup and know the character's frame data which you also have to pay for.

Even if you don't want to get the ultimate edition, you can never go wrong in buying the frame data DLC but that is only if you care about wanting to be good in the game.
