Yes, definitely. Scenario campaign in Tekken 6 was lots of fun.
In Tekken 7, all you can do is go online and play matches over and over and over. Gets tiring after a while, single player content brings some variety and lets you chill.
Yes, me too
Then you probably want to check out the online or your local scene if you are lucky enough to have one. If you actually grew up with fighting games you would have realised they are supposed to be played against someone.
Pff.. I bet you are one of those people who complained about Tekken 6 having too much content. Because having too much choice is bad. They should remove practice mode too. The practice mode should be only online and only against actual people. Remove story mode and customization too.
Let's hope Tekken 8 gives us even less content, so we can finally play the game we're "supposed to".
It's not 1990 anymore and I expect more from the games I play. I'm certainly not gonna pay a full price for lazy barebones releases. That's a mandatory wait-for-sale.
I have to use Cheat Engine to enable CPU in versus mode, because the devs still haven't added this option, how ridiculous is that?
They should either offer more content as DLC or just release their developer tools so modders can finish the job.
Even the practice mode is lacking and doesn't show frame data.
First, you clearly don't know how much work goes into a fighting game. A single character has an insane amount of animation, specially in these games with movelists so outrageously long. Second, for so little content you got already more than 300 hours out of it.
That's an actual problem. Tekken is filled with issues, from design to implementation, but the single player is not one of them.
