It's not only about mix-ups, but look at those + frame shennanigans you were doing against me, since I didn't knew those are + on block, I was trying to press buttons and get demolished. Considering Gigas has quite a few ways to enter Golem Stance, and most are + on block, if the opponent doesn't know which transition is + and which is -, they will either not punish or get crushed for pressing buttons.
While true that it does require the Gigas to know more than the opponent, "more" is relative.
I blocked something, doing a jab after a blocking something, especially a stance transition does 90% beat out many options.
Look at Kunimitsu for example, regardless of what stance she wants to go in, IF you block the move that transitions into the stance, she's at least -8, or, in regards to KAT, you are still faster, so a 1,2 will beat every single option option from her stances.
Or Hwoarang's Flamingo transitions, while he's at +3, his fastest move is a jab at i13, so again, a 1,2 from you will stop his momentum by trading or outright beating him, sure, he has a high crush, but that one seems to be used almost exclusively when you know the opponent knows he can beat Flamingo and isn't afraid to trade either.
So after blocking something, a 1,2 will, most of the time be a good indicator if you can or can't press buttons, especially in stance transitions.
Against these boring cheesy characters just lean steve and destroy them.
Yes he is. Whenever I fight Gigas I get destroyed, like last night, that Gigas player kept destroying me with BS, because I didn't understand what he was doing. So I kept getting launched (or thrown). Can't approach him because he has that safe long-range mid that he can keep spamming as much as he wants. I can't use AoP or RDS either because he can reach me with his long arms at any time.
You can't defeat Gigas without knowing the matchup. It's not possible.
You could... Idk... Lab those 2 moves that Noctis does and find a weakness?
I would say you should get good, but considering you're the guy that claims to have gotten 30 perfects in a row against "S+++++++ tier players", I would take any of your comments with a bag of salt.
