Character Difficulty

I saw someone say that Shaheen is more difficult than Lee, Gigas, or Jack.
Your thoughts?

There's not just 1 type of difficulty in the game, and that's what many get "wrong" when they talk difficulty.

You have a game plan difficulty and execution difficulty.

Shaheen has little to no execution difficulty, but neither do Jack or Gigas, but when it comes to game plan difficulty, Shaheen doesn't have an easy time, because he's just kinda generic, has good generic tools, but beside maybe a slide mix-up, he doesn't really have ways to cheese people.

Gigas and Jack can cheese extremely well with their weird movelists, meanwhile Lee.....check bellow:

Not to mention all the slide mix-ups, Hitman bs and infinite kicks Lee can do to cheese wins out of people.

So in a way, yes, Shaheen is harder to be good with than Lee, Gigas or Jack.

yes lei indeed has a huge and complex movelist like steve but lei is basically free wins if you cheese and the opponent doesent know the matchup like its not even possible to win,unless you are talking at high level then lei is not hard at all,learn his most useful bunga and you are guaranteed at least blue ranks

some good viewpoints down here.
i don't known though, it still feels like shaheen is easier. maybe it's because his playstyle is easier for how i play.
i went into practice mode with shaheen and i'd honestly feel like i'll have a more easier time using him because of his decent tool kit.
i've tried using the other 3 before and i've been blasted pretty badly and had a hard time using them efficiently.
i'm going into matches now to see how he will do.

he feels like a decent and simple character really.
i don't think my jack/gigas/lee will have as much ease and efficiency as shaheen.

shaheen is easy as hell to learn but hard to be good with since he only has fundamental tools and therefore he is just a complete reflection of your own skill.
the others especially lee are 30 times harder to learn but once you get good with them you can win more easily than if you played shaheen cause in some situations you have better tools,even then tho lee is still harder than shaheen, he is too inconsistent compared to him as a bonus too

its crazy to me that to practice against DLCs you have to buy them and some of the DLCs I rarely even play against to learn the matchup

but, in green ranks, anything can happen.

lei is difficult :D One of the most gimmicy and easy to win characters because noone knows the matchup is difficult! You mister are a comedian

Shaheen as every other new tekken 7 characters is made for new players to attract more attention. All newbies like to win
