And again. People decline to exploit. Common knowledge. The game white lists two players so they don't get matched up again immediately. But for a baffling reason, if someone declines a match, the two players can match up all over again. Which is not fair for the player that declined a rematch. Lots of people use this to exploit easy rank climbs. I personally don't care because I already play 3 or 5 matches against players who beat me all the time, but if I'm bored and want a new player THEN LET ME FIGHT AGAINST A NEW PLAYER.
You're not just screwing that guy, you're screwing OTHERS too because you reset the matchmaking whitelist for everybody. I give a nice and fair 3 matches for everyone, sometimes even 5. After that, I'd like to move on to a new opponent but people like you ruin it and make me waste time in load screens just to get matched with the same guy.
Low ping and high leave % could be declined freely without penalty, how about that? You shouldn't be allowed to instantly re-queue after declining a green/blue network or a 3% or less disconnecter.
They want bans or other "negative actions" if someone plays against them due to the matchmaking (which is on Steam's end- not Bamco) if they leave and get paired up again?
I dont want to burst your bubble, but this isn't DOTA or LoL. Those games consist of teams. The penalties are based on the team mentality and the potential time it takes to load in, conduct pick and bans as well as making sure a full team is on each side for competitive play. Tekken is 1v1. It does take a while to match and load, but only 2 people are potentially "screwed over" if one of the players quits, plugs or gets somehow disconnected.
I would wait for season 4. Maybe some more changes are coming to help alleviate many of your concerns and complaints.
But honestly, tekken has bigger issues imho.
Upon reading the posts again, this whole post seems one-sided and is inferring quite a bit from OP's perspective. OP doesnt really know why people leave, quit, get paired up again, etc. Some of it may be toxicity from other players, yes- but there is no way to know for sure. I get paired with people who quit on me over and over sometimes too. But there is no way to know that every player is purposefully declining matches just to get "you". It isnt reasonible.
