AVG is a stoner

Somehow my AVG viru$ scanner went ape**** about me launching Tekken 7.
It quarantined the TekkenGame-win64-shipping.exe for IDP.Generic?
Anyone having this issue?

I cant restore the file nor delete it.

I got tired of AVG and uninstalled it.

You can open an exception for the exe. My best bet right now would be to turn off AVG and verify the integrity of the game. Afterwards make an exception for the entire steam library as AVG likes to delete game exes.

I just installed Avira so let's see if it's any good and less annoying.

Yeah, im uninstalling the AVG program atm.
It helps blocking popup ads, but I am way to pissed atm.

The worst thing is I cant take it nor delete it out of quarantine.

Btw, how do I get the .exe back? Can I re-download it from steam or?

It didnt fix it, f***** AVG. I wanted to play some games with friends and now I can't. They won't even respond on my question. Pathetic software.

Just right-click Tekken in your games list, choose Properties. Go to the local files tab in the window that pops up, then choose to verify integrity of game files. If there's a file missing, it'll be automatically downloaded right after the integrity check is complete.

Uninstall AVG, and Game>properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Files... to fix it

Not used AVG in years, it has way to much of a tendancy for false positives.. as in all it ever gave me was false positives and never anything real
