Tekken 5 and Tekken 3 would be my favourties. I did like Tekken Tag Tournament 1+2 but never owned them myself, so I don´t want to judge ;)
2. T3 bcs nostalgia
3. TTT2
END
bcs i don't know what games put on 4 and 5
and also i HATE T4 bcs BORING commentator that wanishing "feeling of epicness"
2. T2: Best OST by far
3. TTT2: Best character roster, Awesome Tag mechanic.
4. T3: Nostalgia overload
5. T6: Didn't shine as much as the above mentioned, but was overall the most polished.
Tekken 3/2: OST
Tekken 4: Story Mode
Tekken 5: Gameplay
Tekken 6/ Tag 2 : New mechanics
The rest of games are just classics what i can say, not bad games just nostalgia as ppl say. Tekken 7 is probably gonna my #1 since so far it looks like a improved version of the aspects from past games.
4. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Has nearly every single character from all prior Tekken games, TAG and 1vs1 battles. Pretty nice visuals and music that not only good but can be customized as well. I also really like the end battle with Jun/Unknown. Feels a bit too similar to Tekken 6 though.
3. Tekken 4 - Darkest game in the franchice, the best character stories. Had the balls to change pretty much all the default character outfits and brought in a lot of new and interesting gameplay ideas. The best implementation of Tekken Force and has a great soundtrack and visuals that still hold up well for a PS2 game. Has issues though with balancing, the end boss is Heihachi in a diaper and it's missing certain characters like Jack, Anna and Armor King and instead we have... Combot.
2. Tekken 2 - Best soundtrack in the series and the most atmospheric. The most epic opening sequence and no character in the game feels like "filler" and the best end boss. The fighting and combos are bit basic however
1. Tekken 3 - Not only the best Tekken game but also one of the very best fighting games ever made. Mindblowing visuals for a PS1 title, the character designs are excellent (Yoshimitu for example has never looked better), combat and control are super quick and repsonsive. Tekken Ball was fun and so was Tekken Force. The game really has no major flaws. I can only nitpick like how True Ogre is a bit of a pushover, no Kazuya but Jin in this game was a good replacement and as good as the music is I still the music in Tekken 2 was every so slightly more.
2- tekken 6 just a solid good looking tekkwn game
3- tekken 5 Dr had ton of fun In dojo mode, getting all the stories and playing with my mate all through school.
4- tekken 3. Nostalga, tekken ball and true ogre
That's all I've played :3
You are of course, I somehow in my brain transfered over his Tekken 3 absence to Tekken 4. The poinst still stands though that I feel the roster is a bit lacking in T4.
2. TTT1
3. T2
4. T1
I really think the franchise went downhill after Tekken 3. I played them all, but I struggled to get interested in the fanchise after the first Tag Tournament. Played a bit of 4, a bit of 5, a fair bit of 6, a bit of TT2.... but I was fan of T1, 2 and 3. Here's hoping 7 will bring the excitment back.
