Hey there,
I had the same issue. Bought the Razer Atrox (XB1 Version), after buying and liking the Razer Panthera (PS4 Version). Thinking that I'd have controllers for both consoles, that I'd be able to use at the same time on my PC, with friends. Only to find that the Atrox doesn't support all 8 buttons straight out of the box. I was very disappointed with Razer.
Anyhow... I managed to find a work around. Try downloading a program called reWASD... it's a remapping program that works in the background.
When playing on PC, I set reWASD to emulate my stick as a PS4 Controller. Mainly because I usually play Tekken on either my PC or my PS4. I was also able to get all 8 buttons to work. I remapped the buttons on the Atrox as follows... X=Square, Y=Triangle, A=Cross, B=Circle, RB=LP+RP, LB=LK+RK, View=LP+LK, Menu=RP+RK and the Xbox Button=Start. I then swapped the wiring from the normal Menu Button (Left button on right side of the box) with the RT button. And, I swapped the wiring from the normal Veiw Button (Right button on the right side of the box) with the LT button. The wire connectors for the Sanwa buttons can be swapped pretty easily... they just pull straight off (Make sure to grip the metal connection piece, when pulling them off... don't pull them by the wire or you may damage it). The stick should be set to function as the Left Analog Stick or the Directional buttons. So, in the end I had the full 8 button layout, a functioning stick and a start button to get in and out of the menu.
Hopefully this helps you or anyone else experiencing the same issue.
It works perfectly now... But, I'm probably going to just gonna replace the PCB with the new wireless one that Brook has brought out. They've only released a PS4 Wireless PCB... but, I'm hoping they'll make a universal one. Wishful thinking???
