If you whine a lot, you get a certain stench about you, get it? Especially if your complaints aren't backed up by anything solid or repeat themselves over and over again. I rarely post, but sometimes I can't help but mock such posters in a cheeky way.
If someone says something stupid all they deserve is to be ignored or corrected. It's not a reason to straight up ostracize someone. I get these repeat offenders should be permabanned (they are spamming, same thread different day) but that's up to the property owners...Valve or Namco can come here and permaban posters. But they do not. It's useless really since Steam accounts are free and you don't need to own the game to post here.
Our hands are tied as players. We either accept the other players or kill the game.
Average player can say: "This character is too stupid. He can mash buttons all day and is too safe"
More skilled player will respond: "He is too hard. Most of his moves are unsafe and at high levels no one is playing as him".
Truth is - Both of those opinions are different sides of the same coin. It`s what i personally call "Two extremes". Both of them are only partly right. One doesn`t want to learn a bit more about the character to understand that he is not invincible and the other one is too ignorant or stubborn to accept the fact that this character is bad only at certain rank/skill level. All characters have pros and cons since this is still a fighting game. However, some characters can have better strengths than others and their weaknesses are not as bad as others. If someone wants to pretend that he/she is one big muddafukin expert in any PvP game then please, before saying something "smart" think of things like rank, skill difference and so on. It`s the minimum of what you should take in mind. I don`t know if the source of toxicity is pride or psychological trauma.
The more people will understand this, the better PvP environment will be. More players will be happy with the game and that means bigger playerbase for us and more money for publishers/developers. Not going to lie. I do have a strong feeling that i wasted time for nothing.

It seems like when others or myself reply to problems or complaints, there isnt normally a positive response. If you let someone know that a move or situation has a weakness, they attack you for being a tryhard, noob, spammer, etc..
I have tried breaking things down in videos or podcasts as well, and it seems to fall on the deaf and blind.
Obviously, my sution would be to not help players in steam... but that doesn't seem to be an adequate response to ignorance and trolling. It feels like if I stop helping players on here I am contributing to the problem.and the disservice this board sometimes allows as a sounding board for untrained players.

This is the type of conversation you should probably have on the boards, because if the Hwo is beating you with spam, you may need to lab it some more. I know I continually revisit the character for matchup exp. This would help the OP as well as other players that may be too afraid or don't know what to ask.
Creating another thread with the exact same content is spam.
I my opinion there is no reason to reply at these topic when someone complain about character especially when the same person make another post to complain about something.
It looks that they do not need any advice or help, they just need to complain to feel better.
These complaining topics are not harmful till they do not try offend another person. If they do this, i just report them.
Maybe this should be special topic for thesese coplainers on the top of the boards. Then they won't need create another new post in time when they want to complain.
It depends what they say, i will refute them with reasoning. I dont have to preach how the world is filled with ignorant people who dont share my own thoughts. However in this situation i do think Hwoarang is a rotten character.
Bamco gives Hwoarang everything, the sun and the moon, they buffed him in S3 to become the most annoying character when he has already potential to do so. Mean while they nerf the Pandas.

Dont believe these Hwo players begging sympathy.. they are counting on the fact that this character is complicated and hard to break down, but when you do, he has a lot of bs stuff that he gets away.
Namco gives this character so many things, and you have to punish them in so specific way and a ton of his stuff is just bs safe and give him advantage like Leroy.
