ok first learn and internalize his moves

look up what moves have good frame data to use in neutral and what moves give him a launch on either normal hit and counter hit

practice combos from all of these launchers, either use sample combos in practice mode or look them up

play some ranked

watch really good yoshimitsus play and pay attention to what options they use in what situations

look up okizeme and frame traps you can use with him

If a move is + frames on block you can go for a move to catch them for example king when he goes for giant swings, or any character going for a counter hit (since they are at a disadvantage on frames they are more likely to get hit first if they throw out any move)

some moves grant something special when they counter hit, like a low on CH might knock them down and allow you to combo them, or a mid that makes them collapse slowly to the ground allowing you to combo them

a counter hit happens when your move hits them while they are still throwing out their move

Why do some combos start with CH? does that mean I should only use that combo in the event to block someones move or that means I am counter hitting them if i land it? have not gone too far into this but also would u explain more to what I should know about some moves being i13 ,i7 etc. like what frame is going to be best in the certain situation?

-im gna research this more tom
