Just think about this polish player who has no fingers on his left hand and he still won against qudans with jin also playing on DS4 controller.
Since you're playing on DS4, pressing d+f (down and forward) will be the tricky part stopping you from initiate the grab, my advice there is to simply get used to doing QCF (quarter circle forward) motions in practice until you get the hang of it, as well as trying to pressing both d+f with your thumb. You'll know if you're doing it right when Nina is put into forward sway, from there, hold forward and simply press 1+2 (You will also have access to other moves whilst in forward sway as well).
Once in the grab, you have a bunch of chain routes to choose from, such as 3,4,3,1+2. If you're having trouble with dual inputs (pressing both 1+2 for example together at the same time) I recommend that you use a shoulder button to map certain inputs to make this easier (check out your controller settings in-game and you'll probably notice it). Do note however, that there are certain parts of a grab where it would be faster to just input them manually, otherwise it's mostly just memorising the inputs needed as well as being quick.
