Lagging Offline
I even lag in training mode. Started about 3 weeks ago. I have an AMD graphics card and the lag transfers to online. It hard lags about every 3 minutes. Pls let me know if you ran into this problem and have found a fix. Thanks

If you lag offline then it's not your conection, it is your computer... post computer specs in detail if you want answers.

Your processor (CPU) is the weakest link and is rather outdated... I dont know if tekken supports the Vulkan API, but that might help instead of running the game in DX11, since vulkan reduces strain on the CPU. You can also try to validate the game files by right clicking the game in steam.

Also install DDU "display driver uninstaller" it really helps to remove the old AMD driver files still lingering on ur PC, then do a fresh install of the newest AMD drivers as their could be some conflicts if you install AMD drivers frequently over each other and DDU helps remediate that issue. Hope some of this helps.

Thanks for theall the info bro. I the end it didnt work but iI still needed to clean ut some stuff with the software you advised me to try. I think my next step is just to upgrade my processor. If that does not help then ♥♥♥ it. Thanks again.

It should work fine with those specs... my computer is less than half of that and it moves everything at stable 60fps on medium graphics, no slowdown or stuttering, plays smooth.
(core i5 650, 6gb ram, geforce gt1030)
Maybe you need more ram.

have you tried lowering your graphics settings ?

My spec just GT 730 2GB VRAM DDR3 8GB RAM Pentium G3**(forgot), i using 1280x720 resolution settings at high except anti aliasing and i only go to 50(that number which can go to 200), in some maps can go to 60 fps, some lower around 30 fps.

v-sync and windowed/borderless display modes both add quite a bit of lag.
Set it to fullscreen with v-sync off and see if it helps

I would rather say that AMD R9 380 is the weakest link there . That FX8320 might be "old" CPU but still it will laught at running this game on max. I am still using my "old" FX8350 whats not much better but still I can play almost every game at max setting at 1080p (60fps) with a GTX980.

yea idk what it is. last time i had real issues with tekken was when it first came out and i couldnt really play it for the first 2 months. Had problems wwith my graphics card. Had to wait for an AMD driverr update, but thats the thing I never updated anything besides windows before all this occured. And then I decided upgrade my drivers to see if it worked. It didnt. As of now after testing and trying things Ive cut the time when the hard lag comes in to about every 6 min and cut down how long it lags when that tiime does come around to about 5 seconds. but yea i also thinkk its my graphics card. im way passed a upgrade date on alot of things on my computer. I will keep looking for fixes until that time comes but i do want to thanks everyone for giving out theyre suggestions. Alot of things Ive done to try to correct this issue were really things that needed to be done anyway even if it didnt work. Again. Thanks.
