My game crashes whenever I get to a screen that says creating save data for additional characters

I don't know why the console version is so much more stable than the PC version pc version is supposed to be better and more reliable right? so why is that every time I install Tekken 7 on a new computer I have issues. Now when I first downloaded and ran the game I couldn't create custom skins for any character. Was told to turn off steam sync delete local appdata turn steam sync back on run game. that didnt fix the issue it actually made it worse. Now I cant even play the game now the game crashes whenever I go past the press any button screen and it says creating save data for additional characters. Is there any hope for me? Will this game ever run properly? Can anyone help me?

I have windows 10 home and I have all drivers n such downloaded and they were all cleanly installed.

So it's cleanly installed, and u have still a problem?

Maybe try to verify the integrity of local files of game. That's the only thing I can think of.

My PC specs is way too out of league of yours but I can play just fine.

I have several times. It doesn't say anything that is wrong with the game and I don't understand how I always have problems because my friends never have these problems either and their specs are way lower than mine too.
I'm trying to reinstall the game without cloud save enabled to try and reset my progress entirely which I dont rly care about.

I'm trying to reinstall the game without cloud save enabled to try and reset my progress entirely which I dont rly care about.

Looks like had problem with updating the game. Try to clear download cache before u reinstall.

Ur trying to modify in-game files and you blame the game for crashing ? Do you realize how dumb is this phrase ? Stick to the community skins that you can find on DeviantArt and you will have no crashes at all !!!

I'm not adjust any in game files I am trying to create in game custom skins with the in game character customization screen and when I took a thumbnail picture for the costume it would crash now the game won't even launch because now when I get past the press any button screen it comes up with a screen that says creating save file for additional characters and then crashes. I have no clue what is going on.

"users\<yourusername>\appdata\local\tekkengame\saved\config" -directory.

I just tried this and it still didn't work I still get to the creating save files for additional characters dialogue box and when I press ok the game crashes I tried waiting 10-15 min to see if that did anything before clicking ok but it still crashed and I never got any further.

Make sure you do a fresh install of the latest driver with DDU.
I play this game using the stereoscopic 3D mod with nvidias 3d vision and it's mindblowing. It also renders the game twice (once for each eye.) and I have literally NEVER had the game crash.

I'm pretty sure it was fixed when I did a complete reinstall without that save the save got corrupted idk why or how but whatever I had saved caused issues and caused this so I would wipe out the appdata like it is said above and then prevent the steam cloud from downloading any past saves by going into your download settings on steam itll reset your whole progress account wide but it'll at least you'll be able to play the game.
