How do you move faster?

I see pro players move extremely quickly back and forth, side stepping and moving back as such. Is its because of the arcade stick or is there a trick to manuever faster side and back stepping? Is there any tutorial or tips on how to move faster?

They can move quickly because they are cancelling the recovery of some movement animations into other different movement animations. There are lots of tutorials on Youtube and other Tekken websites about backdash cancelling, sidestep cancelling, and crouch dash cancelling. Those should be a good starting point.

Yes, people whine that a fan favorite character got added to Tekken and not some old character. I'm having a blast while a lot of people in the forum are crying and being salty :^)
