Where do you get your frame data information?
I found this site and it seems really great, I wonder if the information on it is accurate.

Yes, people use this site.

Tekken dicords usually have bots that tell you frame data, I think they all pull the info from the site you mention.

There's also the software "Tekken bot prime" that pulls the frame data info from the game and displays it in real time.

tekkenbotprime is better

I am torn on tekken bot prime. On the one hand it would be a fantastic practice mode tool. On the other hand, people have been caught using it in ranked matches(streamers). If it was limited to practice mode only-I could possibly get onboard. But currently, I stay far away from that crap.

It gives inconsistent readings in online tho.

just knowing that it isn't 100% accurate means people use it online. Ouch.

No disrespect, but I am an OLD tekken player. I remember sharing FAQ files (on paper) in a binder chained to our local cabinet. I get having an edge. But it sucks that it has come to this.

I think the bot is a great tool. Since knowing the frames is so important anything that aids the learning process is good.

As for people using it in ranked, I blame Namco for this.

If they did their job and included a similar tool in practice mode, there would be no need for bot prime.

And since Tekken should have replay recording functionality with recorded frame data, but doesnt't, it leaves me no choice but to run it online when I record my matches.

I guess so... Again, I feel if it was a practice mode feature, I would be fine with it. But when only PC players have access to it, and it is essentially an unregulated tool it comes off sorta scummy.
*Also, doesn't Namco constantly update the game and stop the bot from working? Until the bot is updated or patched to run on the newest version of the game?

Don't worry about console players. We get superior tools because we chose to play on a superior platform.

They have made their choice.

But also, to be honest. Tekken can run in potato mode on regular laptops, so if they really wanted to use bot prime to test thing out, they could do it this way.

We will be updating rbnorway with tekken 8 frame data. We also started work on a new dedicated site for frame data at https://tekkendocs.com
For tekken 7 it contains frame data for all characters and a "cheat sheet" with key moves, punishers, combos etc.
For tekken 8 we currently have frame data for a few characters, but we also have an anti-strat section and we will work on adding more and more relevant data for Tekken 8.
