He isn't "garbage". He is not good at higher levels unless you know ALOT! If you know the game in and out, he can be incredibly good! But at low to average skill, he devolves into gimmick-party 2019.

If the opponent knows the game in and out aswell it's garbage, ask any pro player if yoshi is tournament viable. Even at his own tier there are way more solid characters, yoshi is the common gimmick char that "looks" good only against unexperienced players, once you meet someone who knows stuff your movelist is shrinked to nothing since everything he has is so risky

I AM a Law main lol... I know quite a few great Yoshi players. Even at high level (tournaments) , respectable players can fear yoshi and his tricks.

Well,I'm no pro,you have to consider that while commenting to what I'm about to say.
Paul is unga-bunga QCF2 your entire hp bar is gone.
Yoshimitsu is based on strong reads and good Yoshimitsu players probably played him since before Tekken 7 hence why they're so good.

Honest character? Almost every move of yoshi is a gimmick . lol

But I won't cry about him because he is not that strong but calling him "honest" is just wrong.

Do I really need to say something?
EDIT: I Probably do because youre too dumb to figure out what I mean.
Besides from Lei Wulong and Steve fox, Yoshi is one of the hardest characters to lab and figure out a solid gameplan for alternating between setups on the opponent wake up, furthermore his terrible but variable moveset makes it MANDATORY to change things up because the moment you get blocked, congrats, you're most of the times -14.

Law gameplan is often more solid and easier to do, and will get you further than any yoshi. Wanna know why? Because he has more damage and is always safer on hit and on block than yoshi is. That-s what you don't seem to grasp. Difficulty doesn't comes from inputs (this game is actually really easy to compared to 1 frame links in SF4 or corner combos in guilty gear). Difficulty comes from winning when using a character that has to work two times as hard with what it has to win.
