I am not 100% sure what that means, but it sounds like there may be some anti-modder sentiments at Namco. Be warned. They have already put their sights on boosters and cheaters in the past:
http://www.avoidingthepuddle.com/news/2018/2/23/official-tekken-7-online-ban-notice-for-rage-quitters-booste.html
And now this:
Official Tekken 7 EULA:
Tekken 7 EULA ≫ http://store.steampowered.com/eula/389730_eula_1
• You do not use any hacks, cracks, bots, or third-party software that may modify or copy, temporarily or permanently, the code or the user experience of the Game, whether on Your Hardware or on servers that enable use of any features of the Game;
• Reverse engineering, deriving source code, modifying, decompiling, disassembling, or creating derivative works of the Game or any portion thereof, in whole or in part;
Really should be an official implementation but hey, it'll do
Cheaters are NOT modders. But Namco is still modifying the EULA to stop both. Like i mentioned earlier- Tread lightly. You might find you can no longer connect to as many players once you start expanding what mods you are using on your game. You may also experience cloud storage corruption. A fun side-effect of modding and having the modded files upload to steam cloud.
and everybody is using mods,including the top-level players,so stop spreading mis-information..
This is from the updated Tekken 7 End User Licensing Agreement. I am just stating what Namco's intentions are for the game and it's Online component. You can do whatever you all want offline. But, it can cause issues if you forget and go online in any mode. Good luck.
as long as you don't use any 3rd pary software you're ok
blue and purple is whack
How is the game gonna tell the difference for file that in it's eyes is exactly how it should?
Simple answer it won't
It's just 3D models and flat images (for UI) anyhow
How will they know if you've lost on purpose to boost the other player? Am I allowed to lose repeatedly in player match at least?
What if you are so drunk that you keep losing, is this a violation of terms? Are they gonna analyze server logs to see what you were doing and when?
Vulgar language is apparently not allowed either. So you can't say f*uck, cause it violates terms. Seriously?
I hope they don't get overzealous with the rule enforcement, because this is creepy.
Quake 3 Arena got it right with online play. You start your own dedicated server, and are not bound by any external corporate rules, because YOU set the rules on your own server. That's how it should be.
Here are my reccomendations.
Go ahead and get all the good stage mods you can get your hands on. Godlike99kingz and MussadarRiaz have some amazing-looking stage mods that get rid of all the film grain and make everything look so much better. Like it should be.
Secondly, go ahead and change that health bar. An arcade/vanilla healthbar looks good. There are also Tag2 healthbars out there (my personal favorite)
A5tronomy's Character customization shadow removal removes the terrible texture overlay, dunno if you've seen it but it's really apparent if you look at some comparison shots.
Peraliq's Evil Eye makes Kayuza's red eye stand out a lot more, like it used to in previous entries. Dunno why they made his evil eye look so dull in T7.
Go ahead and get the Jukebox mod to replace *some* of those terrible tracks.
And lastly, i want to reccomend replacing some character icons/renders. Idk, the vanilla renders look a lot better. You can also get some Tag2 ones which look even better. I made one for Asuka, Jack 6 and Heihachi if you're interested.
This is flat-out wrong. We dont use 3rd party software. We dont cheat. Everyone and their mothers is using mods, even high level korean players. If you dont know how mods are made, which is fine, before posting you should probably document yourself on the matter, otherwise you'll just look like a disinformed ♥♥♥♥.
