TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 on Steam would be AWESOME

I really like TEKKEN 7 but TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 is still the best Tekken in my opinion.

Older Tekken games use an engine thats whas never ported to PC.
I imagine its posible but wuld take to much efort to do.
Its much easier for them to port new games becouse they use Unreal 4 engine.
Also the game is somwhat old fev people wuld buy it again on steam they problby had there fill on consles so the online playerbase wuld not be big.
I think you better jsut hope for Tekken tag 3 at this point.

If you read why of my replies here you'd probably realise I'm a big fan of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The whole 4K thing doesn't really have any effect on me because I still "only" have a 1080p display xD.

It's not that I don't like TTT2, it's more to do with the fact that, to me, there's much more they could do with Tekken 7 to make it as good as TTT2. Not to mention the fact that it would be costly just to port it for a minority fanbase on PC. I don't think the potential customer base for something so niche would outweigh the development costs (TTT2 it's much more casual than T7 so it wouldn't attract the same audience). Also, it would split the playerbase on PC and it wouldn't be viable for them to have to support both games simultaneously.

Taking this into consideration is why I think they should just make Tekken 7 better by adding missing stuff from other Tekken games.

Nonsense. TTT2 is TTT2, Tekken 7 is Tekken 7. I don't want Tekken 7 to turn into TTT2 (will never happen anyway), I want a deluxe port of TTT2 on Steam. And it wouldn't split anything, the players who are seriously on Tekken 7 will never go back to TTT2, it's like saying that releasing an old Street Fighter would split the playerbase of Street Fighter V.

It doesn't even need to be a full game, it can be just a Stages & Costumes DLC for Tekken 7. With some of the stages re-designed; for example Jin's stage doesn't need to be an infinite stage(it was infinite back then due to hardware limitations), etc..

♥♥♥♥ Tag 2, that's the title that almost killed the franchise and it's made of garbage mechanics. Yeah lets all have fun with Tag Assault and bs damage, people complain about juggles in Tekken 7, LOL, lets go back to Tag 2 where you get a single CH and all the lifebar is gone for good.

Honestly, if Tag 2 got a rebalance, have the pair play mechanics improved(offline/online pair play ghost battle, online play pair play in lobbies/ranked), I'd probably play the ♥♥♥♥ out of that.

They would have to port the game from PowerPC to x86 processor architecture. Takes too long and probably would result in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port.

And of course people will totally like playing against double Capo's every single match, who are spamming b1,4 - b2 - uf3.

Was it really that bad compared to T7? I mean Eddy can still get easy 100 damage combos off of B1,4~3+4.
