Gon is an old comic book character. I believe there was some sort of legal battle over the rights of the character like decades ago. I dont expect to ever see Gon in a tekken game ever again sadly.

Yeah, that's right. I was actually surprised that Tekken 3 was one of the games on the PS Classic, considering the licensing issues

So , Gon and his beach map(stage) would be awesome in S3.

Gon was a guest character. It is unlikely for it to return. It would make more sense to bring a different guest instead of repeating.

A character with permanent high crush properties? ... I don't think Gon would be as well receieved as you might imagine.

The game is not roster complete until Ganryu, Roger Jr. and Mokujin at the very least return xD. They can even swap out Geese, Noctis and Negan for them
