I, too, miss him but considering he's only been playable twice I don't think the game is incomplete without him.

The likes of Ganryu, Julia, Mokujin and Roger are what makes the game seem "incomplete"

Also all the single player stuff they gutted but that's irrelevant here

Doctor B. had more standing stances than prone ones.
Yes, he can stand completely upright. Look at his giant move list.
It was one of the most deeply worked out move lists in the series.
If you see B. as a prone idiot, it just means you just never learned to play him right.
Tekken 7 has more good ground-aimed attacks so any noob trying to exploit Doctor B.'s lower stances for fun and profit would get destroyed by skilled players.

Even with B.'s seldom inclusion in the series, he very quickly got written into a lot of its lore and just by that fact alone deserves his place. Doctor B. is native to the series.

I mean, it's not like I'm saying "bring back Gon", after all. Gon was never a native character. He's got as much of a right to be here as that Noctis fella from FF and other legionaires like Akuma (Street Fighter fans can hate on me as well).

Did you see Lei and Anna's popularity among players? bottom of the barrel. And now people scream for Zefina's return when none of them played her once. Woah dude, Gon is a national Tekken treasure.

It's true that Dr. Bosconovitch is very entwined in the Tekken lore but that's an even bigger reason for them not to include him. At the moment there's not really any reason for him to fight in the KoIFT and even if there was Bandai Namco don't give DLC characters story T_T. Because of that I feel like the DLC characters are misleading (coz they tease some story in the trailers) and pointless.

There aren't "other games", really. All other fighting games have stiff as wood controls, following popularity of Street Fighter. Closest thing in mechanics to Tekken out there is Killer Instinct but still doesn't come close enough to Tekken in fluidity. If not for Tekken, the fighting games genre would be dead to me.

If you mean playing an older Tekken game that has B. in it — well, I've played so much Tekken 3, it must be illegal at this point for me to keep playing it. And getting online multiplayer in older Tekken games on PC is a messy chore, still resulting in desyncs anyway. It's impossible to persuade other people into going through it.

If it's any consolation, I'm sure they'll have the whole cast in TTT3 (including Dr. B) like they did for TTT2...

I can't see him having a mainline appearance anytime soon, though. Tekken has become very competitive focused so more "casual" less viable, less popular characters 'prolly won't appear.

It's kinda sad in a way, they go out of their way to design all these unique characters but unless you play the most popular ones you're out of luck from entry to entry O_o
